Yarns and Tales

My 2 search dogs one retired the other just starting his journey.

This space is for my rambling tales and yarns on everyday life.

Before I begin rambling and telling tales, I would like to introduce myself and tell you why I started this site; and where the inspiration came from.

I'm a Search and Rescue K9 handler turned crafter, driven by a passion for giving back. Inspired by my grandmother's quilt-making and the memory of my nephew lost to cancer, I create handmade toys to bring comfort to those facing illness.

I aspire to honor Heath's memory by ensuring that each toy carries a tag bearing his name. In this way, his spirit remains vibrant and enduring. Heath profoundly influenced my perspective on little kindnesses, instilling in me a deep sense of giving back. Through the legacy of his memory, I aim to continue his kindness and generosity through these simple acts of love. I envision a future where other designers follow suit, creating toys from their designs and donating them to children's cancer centers in their communities. Ultimately, my dream is to see a toy bearing his name (Love, Heath) present in every state across the nation, a testament to Heath's enduring impact and the power of love to transcend boundaries.

Through my platform, every amigurumi sold enables me to make one for individuals battling cancer. Additionally, I advocate for shelter pups seeking loving homes.

Join me in making a difference through compassion and creativity. Together, we can bring moments of joy to those in need.

Kindness can change everything.
